Brian Bromberg strings

Hi.

A friend of mine asked me to question you guys about what strings did Brian Bromberg use (on doublebass) in his records. Is it LaBella 7720? Light or medium gauge?
Another question is what do you think of this strings to play pizzicato.

I believe Brian Bromberg uses Thomastik spirocores in the weich gauge (red on bottom, purple on top).

I met Brian at the Smooth Jazz Awards in San Diego just after his Wood CD came out -- and I asked him...he said Weichs.
