can you identify these strings for me?

i need new strings for my bass, because what it came with is complete crap. the g sounds so terrible. so my teacher plays on these strings that at the bottom are blue with a gold spiral. alot of the bassists in my orchestra also play on these and i like how they sound. what are they?

thanx

D'Addario Helicore orchestrals.
Available in three gauges plus solo-tuning.
You can also ask your teacher.
