Can you re-use strings?

Its a pretty simple question but I never really had this problem before.

I have jazzers on right now probably for about 6 months and they are still in perfect condition and it settled into the right sound a couple of months ago. This is for pizz of course.

I want to work on a couple of classical stuff so I would like to get an hybrid set because I really dont like the scratch from the jazzers G.

I would like to know if I take the jazzers out now, would I be able to re-use them later when im done shedding on my classical stuff?

thanks

Of course!
However, if it's just the G you dislike, you may wish to replace that one string only.
