Changin' strings question

Hello everyone,
I'm changing strings and I ask you advice.

I'm searching for strings with a dark sound pizz, but also good and easy for use with bow.
My instrument has a tuning-length (diapason) over 43.5 inches and I usually keep the strings pretty high compared to the keyboard.
Generally do not like the strings too much thin.
In the past I have enjoyed the Pirastro Obligato (solo tuned to orchestra), but did not like the E string (poor sound...probabably too low tension) and G.

I'm thinking to buy a set of Jargar, not sure if dolce or medium.
Do you have any advice for me? Maybe some other options?

Many thanks in advance
Emiliano

Jargars are nice, and their tone is indeed very dark, pizz-wise.
Your instrument's scale is quite long, so you may want to get the Dolces for reduced tension.
However your post says you don't like too thin, so I'm not sure.

Maybe you could try Pirastro Flexocors.
They're available in three gauges plus solo-tuning.
The E string being weaker, you may want to choose a gauge one step higher than the others for this one.
(eg thin gauge for G, D and A, and medium for the E)

Dark pizz, good with the bow, not too thin:

Evah Pirazzis, perhaps? I love mine.

Yes, but maybe that they are not very suitable with the scale/diapason/size of my instrument...

I wondered about that. Not sure if they can accommodate that length.
