Custom length strings

Hi, I was wondering if there's someone here who can make custom strings with a winding machine. I need standard gauge roundwound strings but to be about 2 meters (about 6 feet, 5 inch) long. I need them for a wierd upright bass that I play in an orchestra. The bass is about 20 years old and so are the strings. It has a flat fingerboard with frets and roundwound strings that no one makes anymore.

Yes, that's what it is. I remember the conducter of the orchestra mention some name on b but I couldn't remember it later. Anyway I don't have any pictures.

How about piano wire? The bass strings for a concert grand are long enough.

Maybe mandobass strings? I can’t remember how long they are, I do remember a old mandobass that had what looked a lot like piano strings.
