D'Addario Hybrid Lights

I've been using D'Addario Helicore Hybrid Medium. I like the pizz sound and the arco sound in the upper register, however I find the D and A to be a little to thick and high tension for playing in thumb position. Here's my plan: I'm thinking about getting a Hybrid Light D and A and also putting my Belcanto G on. I'm looking for some feedback on Hybrid lights. Are they too wimpy? Do you think they'll bow better than the mediums?

I went ahead and ordered the Hybrid Light D and A. I'm hoping they still sound fat like the mediums in the low reg. The mediums are a little too thick for me. I was using all Bel Canto before I got the D'Addarios.
