D'Addario Hybrid Medium or Light?

I ordered D'Addario Helicore Hybrids, and my shop got a box of Medium and a box of Light. They are going on my c.1940 Gibson plywood bass, and I'll be probably doing around 70% pizz, and 30% bow playing.
Can anyone give advice on the choice between light and medium with these D'Addarios? I like a warm, clear tone, and will need decent bow response, probably most of my playing will not be with other basses, whether in a bowed or pizz setting. I just got this bass, so I'm not sure what it wants.
Maybe this is not the best string choice, judging by some other threads, but if I can make them work, I need to know which gauge to use to start.

Only your bass will tell you which one it favors.
Some instruments react better with higher tension, some with lower.
Get a set of both!

I am using the lights now on the A and D after using mediums. I think the lights are easier to bow and they have a snap that I like for pizz. I felt the A and D on the medium set were too thick.

Easier to bow may be good, as I'll likely be pretty exposed as the only bass - I don't expect to need a big orchestra sound. I will also be amped most of the time playing pizz. Are there any typical advantages to the higher tension (medium in this case)?

The only advantage(probably) would be if your bass responds better with higher tension the mediums would suit it better. However, the thinner gauge of the lights will make them easier to bow. Personally I don't like the mediums all that much when it comes to D'Addario. The Light or Heavy sound better to me.
