Daddario's "Prelude"

Has anyone tried these in the orchestra or use them for orchestral context??
It says warm-clear tone ,easy response, and the price is right considering the recent mark up in "imports".
Thanks

I currently have a set of these on my Wilfer. I found them really easy to play and the arco tone is decent. I must qualify that I'm no expert in the land of the bow, (I'm working on it), but to me they were more responsive, smoother and just plain easier to get a nice tone than the obligatos, helicores, prestos or spirocores that I had previously tried on my bass. Are they 'orchestra' quality? It's hard to say for another bass, but in my opinion they are worth a try. I went into them with low expectations and was quite pleasantly surprised. Good luck.
