Difference Between Corelli 370's vs. 380M

Sorry that I am asking the same question I asked 5 years ago. What is the difference between the Corelli 370's vs. the 380M for purposes of Arco? The violin shop sold me a set of 380M's as a low tension arco alternative (I have arthritis). When I went to Lemur's site, it listed the strings for Jazz. Yet, I read other postings and I read that the 380's were darker for arco then the tungsten set of 370's. I know some 370's use Tungsten, I know the 380M's use chrome and I guess nickel. Beyond that, I'm just trying to figure out which is a better arco string.

Like I said in the other thread, in my experience at least the 380s (which I think are rope core) a more "normal", darker orchestra string. The 370 TXF are tungsten are a brighter singing street. Both a very good bowing strings -- but... with not the greatest volume (say compared to flexocores etc) But it's a trade off for my hands, and I assume for yours.

Having used the 370TXF for many years, can anyone give me an opinion on the 370F's in comparison? (life should be simpler than this)

The 370TX is a tad thicker and tighter than the 370F. The low E has noticeably more tension. Oddly, the G seems a little lighter. You can find a tension chart on the Gollihur music site.
