According to StringBass.com, the Dogal Italian strings are "designed to give a warm arco sound and deep pizz sound. Great sound and quality at a low price." ($75.49/set).

Salut, Olivier.
I was tempted by them and bought a single G (the Flexibass model) last year.
It's the brightest, most metallic sounding string I ever tried!
I complained about this to Dogal but never got a reply.
Forget about them!
