E string to match with Evah Pirazzi top 3

I have the top three on and am enjoying them enough to want to get the E strings too, I was just wondering is there anything that would be just as good or better for an E string? I play a lot of Jazz, Orchestral and Solo Repetoire.

IMHO, the Evah E matches up great with the rest of the set. It seems really well balanced to me. It didn't seem so at first , but it opened up as time passed.

Cool, I guess the only thing that holds me back a little is that 65 bucks is heavy on a bus-boy's salary. I've noticed that all the strings are opening up a lot, even in only a weeks time.

I could add that the EP E is very bowable.

I just recieved my 2nd set for my other bass. Great 'do-all' strings and I love their feel under the left hand.

You might try ordering them here;

Good folks and the best price I could find and if you outside of NJ, no tax! Also what they charge for shipping usually less than they actually pay to send it.

The EP extended E is also very good. Nice and clear on my bass and matches the rest of the bass really well.

Also, for those with a 5 string bass, the Evah Pirazzi low B string is really good. A very good match for the set and one of the best low Bs I've played.
