A few questions about Spiro solos

I'm thinking of purchacing a set of Spirocore solos. What is the tension like when tuned to orch. tuning? I have guts on my other bass. Is the tension similiar? How do they respond to arco playing when tuned down? What about responce when playing pizz? Any thoughts would be helpful.

I have an old and kind of long thread on this if you search the forums. I don't say that to be a jerk, but just because it's been a while and it's probably more accurate than my memory.

BUT, I put them on one summer when we had some sort of humidity thing that brought some unwanted tension into my bass. I really loved them. Pizz was great, friendly, easy to play and well balanced. They bowed freakishly well for me, not that I'm an expert, but I navigated them fine arco.

The humidity changed and/or I got restless to try something else and I traded them for something else, which I kind of regret. They'd be good to have around for when I need a break.

Compared to gut? Don't know about that. Certainly thinner, certainly brighter, certainly more sheep friendly. Might be similar in tension, but that's probably about it.
