Full scale strings on 3/4 Bass?

Hi everybody, my first post on the DB forums! and I think i'm officially coming more and more over to the dark side everytime I play. Anyway, my double bass playing friend is going to sell me a second hand set of thomastik spirocores in really good nick hardly played the only thing is there for his full scale and I own a 3/4 I needed to make sure that was ok before getting them off him. I did a search and got lost, any help would be awesome.

You just get a tad less tension.
And since the Spiros are already high tension, there's no problem!

Do you know if the tension of 4/4 Spiro Orchs on a 3/4 bass is similar to the tension of Spiro Solos tuned down?

In my experience, you get more tension from the full size set on a 3/4 size bass than with tuned down solos.
