Many european string brands are not available on this side of the pond.
Be also aware that unknown strings are sometimes unknown for some reason...
And they seem quite expensive too.

The Presto string is more known in Europe.

The nylon wound type is sold under the Eurosonic brand here in North America.

The Innovation (UK made) strings are also well known here.

My advice is: stay away from obscure, unknown products...

galli black nylon are good strings. galli is an old napoli strings manifacturer;in old times they were specialized in mandolin strings, nowadays they makes a lot of sets for almost everything.
i've been using galli black nylon for a while, not the best strings ever but they are ok, even for bowing with the help of a good sticky rosin (pops is perfect).
good feeling and soft under fingers, warm tone.good price.

They do sell them in local shops here. Do you know if they would sell it to me at their factory? It's a few miles away from me!
