Is it good?

Hey everyone,

My bass currently has correli strings on it. The e and a strings sound awesome, nice big full sound, but the g and d strings don't sound as good. I might switch the g and d to helicore strings. What do you guys think of having 2 diffferent pairs of strings on the bass.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob -- I think lots of basses mix and match different types of strings on their bass. What is it that you don't like about the Corelli G and D? That would help figure out some other brands of strings that you might like better. And from your profile I'm assuming you're looking for an orchestra string as opposed to jazz or other types of music.
