Gut string diameters?
Does anyone have and data on the diameters of the top two (plain gut) strings in the LaBella and Pirastro Chorda sets?

Approximate diameters of the Chordas on my bass are;
G- 2mm, D-3mm. They've been on the bass for over a year.
The diameter when they are new may be slightly greater, and the humidity level may affect this too.
