Helicore Hybrids vs. Spirocore Weich...gauges

I have a question about Helicore Hybrids. After using arco strings like Orig. Flexocores (and currently Bel Cantos)
for a long time, I'm planning to go with some strings that have a lot more pop and clarity for playing jazz. My question is this: Are Hybrid mediums comparable in gauge to Spirocore mittels? And also are the Hybrid lights comparable to Spiro Weichs?

Hi Jake,

Yes, i would say that Spiro Mittels are very similar to Helicore Hybrid mediums in terms of tension. I have never tried spiro weich so can't comment on them.

Spiro and helicore Hybrid are quite similar strings generally. spiro have much more 'Zing' to them and more sustain and not quite as nice to bow. (IMO)
