The helicore hybrid medium gauge isn't bad so the spiro weichs probable wouldn't bother me i play with low action and i don't slap
i mostly go for a good pizz tone with an arco solo from time to time, that said the tension of the corellis was to soft and the sound unusable acoustically(i play unamped for some gigs at small clubs so the volume of the string makes a difference and a soft feel in the left hand would be nice, but isn't the most important part of the string to me a lot of food for thought thanks to all who have offered an opinion keep them coming

They're only available in medium gauge though, and am afraid you'd find them too stiff.
I am actually thinking of going the Prelude route due to budgeting. From what I gather they are a really good string for the money? How do they compare to higher priced strings such as Spiros or SF's, Evahs, Obligato, Belcanto, Et al?

The Preludes are rather dark.
They are in the Helicore orchestral route.
