helicore light gauge orch sts

My never ending quest for a low tension crossover string continues. I've tried most of the usual choices. Has anybody tried these for any type of playing , arco or pizz ? Before I hurt my arm I liked the medium gage for arco, and they could almost double as a jazz string w/ little sustain. I don't like the hybrids- too nasty w/ bow. My favorite has usually been weichs, but they are scratchy w/bow. I think the tension is about the same w/ HL gage & weichs. I'm playing a La Scala which has lots of sustain and growl. I had flexicores on the g&d over xmass due to several weeks of work w/ bow amplified. They were better for walking on the La Scala than other basses I've owned. New Standard basses really have sustain!!. The regular gage fexies are a little tough on my bum arm. I'm using flatchrome steel. Like them, but I'm just curious about helicore light gage orch. Ideas??

I think I have a slightly used Helicore Orch. Light E string in my drawer. If you want it, PM your address and I'll send it to you.
