Question HELP ! To change or not to change ??

Hi guys, I was hoping you could help me out with a little dilemma I’m having.

I’ve currently got flexocors on my bass (about 4 month’s old) but a few days ago I got a set of corelli`s 370TX string’s I’m dying to try out but I’m afraid that if I don’t like the corellis as much as I do the flexo`s and I need to put the flexo`s back on they’ve lost a lot or some of their sound.

Can you guys help me out here ?!
Do I have a good reason to fair it or is their no problem when removing steel string’s and putting them back on after a while ??

And if they do lose sound when putting them on and off and I decide to wait, are the correlis going to suffer from being unused for a while or doesn’t it matter ??

HELPPP !!

Steel strings can be taken off and put back on an instrument without any loss of sound.
