help i.d. these strings?

can anyone take a shot at identifying what brand/type strings these are?

the windings are a medium/royal blue with a tan felt washer at the ball end.

I'll try to get a better close up shot...

thanks.
Doug.

What's mostly important is the silk color coding, at both ends of the strings.
Don't see them in the pics.
Just shoot one string with a close-up.
All should have the same colors at the ball-end anyway.
And different colors at the peg end.

it's hard to see. but I believe that all of the silk windings (top and bottom) on all of the strings is the same medium blue?

does that help?

My bet is some kind of LaBella string.

You bought them from eBay?

Or could they be NOS Lycons?...

Those look like solid cores in the photo, making me think of the strings that come on some lower priced Chinese basses.

They're exactly that colour.

Yes and no.... they are on ebay but I haven't bought them.

thought I would ask the pros here first if they looked like anything worth having?

I was told that some sets are all blue, some are all black and some are blue and black? striped maybe?

so are they even worth a try?

I only buy strings from reputable, and known, string makers.
No name strings are not to be recommended, IMHO.

Nice day,
François
