How to install Rotosound Strings (DB forum)

Hi, I'm trying to install a set of Rotosound Strings in one of my bases but they seem to be unable to keep the pitch more than half a minute. If you play them one whole minute you just are half step down.
Is there a way to properly install them?

I just have follow the instruccions I read in an article by luthier David Cage, the same method I use on my other strings for years with no problem.

thanks in advance.

Since they have a synthetic core, they'll stretch like that for a few days.
I wouldn't worry for the moment.
Keep an eye on the bridge though!
It'll probably tilt toward the fingerboard so you'll need to push it back in place.

A guitarist friend of mine recently asked me if Rotosound made double bass strings because he is smitten with their guitar strings. I didn't know they made DB strings. How do these synthetic core strings stack up sound wise and tension wise against Obligatos?
