I.D. these, please?

E and A strings, red thread with black spiral on the tailpiece end,
aqua blue on the pegbox end.

Also, is there an established resource for this information so I don't have to bug you guys?

Sounds like Pirastro Obligatos to me. I'm not sure about the aqua blue, though.

The Quinn tool is helpful sometimes. I ran your scenario through and wasn't quite sure. Can you post pics?

Ack. My bad. The E and A have the same light blue thread at both ends (they were stuffed in an envelope with a D string that has the red/black thread).

Still didn't see it on Quinn's finder. I'll post pics when I get the chance.

Yep, that's what is sounds like to me. Not a bad combination either.
