Very dark and thumpy tone, with almost no sustain at all.
Probably the darkest steel strings on the market.
They're used by many slappers though.

Dolce Jargars can be tuned at solo pitch, so they're more like solo strings.
Much softer than Spiro Weichs.

The Corelli F has a completely different sound.
Absolutely no comparison!

Lee Rocker plays on them I think.
(but he also sometimes plays on Spiros...)

On a related note, I am trying to identify some strings. What are the colors of the jargar silks. I have a string (light green on both ends, big flat and round removable bronze colored ball end with stranded loop core) here that I am sure is a jargar solo but can confirm. The string ID chart doesn't help. Is there another source I may have over looked, I have been search past threads without success.

I tried them (dolce), but didn't liked...sounded like dead obligatos, but thinner.. very very dark sound in pizz...
dolce are clear green silks...

Seems to be them!

Move your other question to a thread of its own.
