It's about like comparing a gut string and Spiro Weichs.
They have nothing in common.
The Dolce Jargar is very dark, low tension, quite gut-like, while the Helicore Hybrids are like the typical pizz steel string.
They are only marginally darker then Helicore Pizzicati.
At least that's how I see them!

ditto on Francois.

Why these two choices? What kind of string are you looking for?

You may want to read Pierre's initial strings thread:

Hello François
I didn't ask you directly the question because I have seen that you are weird of the medium on your last strings. Have you try the dolce too.
So can you try to compare the gauge of dolce to weich spiro : not too elastic and same diametra. I'd like not to change my nut ot the height of the strings ?

Yes, I even have full sets of mediums and dolces here in a box.

The gauges are similar; you shouldn't need to change the nut.
You may need to higher the action with the dolces though. (raise the bridge)
They are low tension strings and may need more room to vibrate.
Maybe other players can comment on this.

I checked your profile out and see that you are into Jazz. I use Helicore Hybrid Heavy guage, and they are by far my favorite strings. I play a fully carved Christopher 3/4. They are dark and have a very neutral tone. The light guage are nice as well, however I wanted a bit more volume and fullness so I went for heavy. All around great strings IMO.
