My expierence With Spirocore Weiches

I just got a set of weiches on my bass tonight.

I've developed tendenitis in my left hand and had to make the move to light strings for a bit while i go though physical therapy.

The string feel amazing. They are so easy to play on. Open D and G are a bit nasally, but I can control it with my right hand position and my angle of attack.

Previously I had evah pirrazis on, which were HEAVY tension, thick, and very hard to play on in general.

The weiches sound fantastic under the bow. Very clear and articulate. It's great.

The set I have is my teachers old set, so they've been worn in. The E string is a bit dead, but not awful, mostly just because it's old.

I've listened to the string comparison matrix a bunch and think that the ultimate string set is the animas, but really think that the weiches sound sweet for now. I'll see how it goes on the gigs and in the big band here at school. Just wanted to say mostly I'm super impressed and can't wait to keep playing them.
