Odering strings online - ???

Hi everybody, I'm about to order some helicore orchestras online, but I have a question before spending the money.

It appears that there are two different types of medium strings, one being "straight" - what's this mean? I don't want to order the wrong set, so any input would be really helpful.

Violins strings are sometimes offered straight in tubes instead of coiled.
Maybe it's the same thing?
