Original Flatchrome E string suggestion?
How does the E string in a set of Original flatchromes sound. Should I order a different one?

I used to have a set of OFC solo strings. They are the best solo strings IMO, but I thought the E was a little dead and muffled sounding.

Do you know what kind of e would mix well with the set? Perhaps a spirocore or permanent?

I have never tried the Permanents at all, but I have heard the E's are good. I have had good results with the Helicore Med Orchestral E.
