Sorry about the spelling. Um I just ordered a set for orchestral playing. What do you guys think of them?

And in most of them I commented that they are wonderful arco strings; fairly high tension, bright without sounding thin, and a great pizz tone to boot (And again a big thank you to Francois for recommending them to me way back!).

I've had a set perms (with long E) on my (2003 carved Romanian) bass for three months now . They're well balanced enough, but the long E is too raspy for me. It's really hard to bow a nice low-C. Overall, they are a bright-ish set of strings. The G is nice and full, not thin and whiny. Previously I had a heli/flexo combo. The heli long-E was better than the perm. My next set will be Jargar Forte's.
