Please help identifying a string

I was playing on a Chinese ply the other day and noticed that the strings felt and sounded great. They were definitely on the lighter side of gauges. The winding was black on both ends.

Is this too vague a description, or could someone narrow it down?

Thank you!

Probably a no-name chinese string.
Unless you can provide more details or a pic.

Corellis all use color-coded ID at the peg-end, so they're excluded.

Could be Innovation 140B, the newer ones are black on both ends and all strings.
What kind of ball end?
The Innovations use a brass rod (notched in the middle) for the ball end.
