Red and Purple Silks...

Hi Guys,

Looking at getting new strings. My Uni has an upright with strings on it that have purple and red silks on them. Think they are thomastiks.
Love the feel of them because they are really low tension and super easy on left and right hand.

Can anyone confirm what they are for me? Think they are the Thomastick Spirocores but not entirely sure.

Would anyone also be able to recommend an low tension string for me?

Also, whats the average 'break in' time on a set of them?

Thanks in advance,

Glen.

They are Thomastik Spirocore 'Weich' which is the 'light' version,

as opposed to 'Mittel' or 'Medium' which are red on both ends.

Both very popular and nice strings. After 1 month of break in they start to be really great IMO
