| Regulating the environment of your bass On a previous thread about gut strings, someone mentioned that it's good to detune guts strings when not playing them and try and keep the bass in a good climate...
I'm just curious, aside from obvious things (like not leaving the bass in the garage), what exactly can be done to help? I live in Bloomington, Indiana and the humidity changes a lot. I can deal with the bass itself changing, but I'm using Eudoxa strings, which are pretty tempermental.
Any suggestions?
