| I had several done a few years back,, a few stayed together,, but most blew out the windings after a few weeks..one didnt even make it out of the package, it already had loose winding..the one thing I did notice about gamuts wound strings is that he uses a much smaller wire,,which also effects the string gage.I do wish he would/could use a larger gage wire,,but his idea of gut gages is a lot smaller than any others I have played.
