| Shelf life of uninstalled strings
Any concerns I should have about letting a new set of strings sit around uninstalled. Will they last pretty much indefinately?
Between wholesale warehouses and low-volume stores, I figure that they sit around quile a while sometimes anyway, but I have also had one local string shop owner (more of a violin guy) suggest that there was a shelf life for strings.
