Which strings for solo playing are you using and why?

D'addario Solo Seried (Medium), because their orchestral series strings work very well on my bass so I decided to get a solo set from them. Very clear sound

I use flexocor solos for solo tuning. My teacher recommended them, and they are all I've used. That being said, I don't really have a reason to change them. They're bright without being nasal, and easy to finger and bow.
