Solo tuning extended-C(D) string options

So I just got my hands on a set of solo flexocores, after a rather herculean search, but was unable to find a solo tuned low F#(D) C-extension string. I decided to try using a light-gague orchestral helicore (lightest gague thing I could find) and tune it up, and unfortunately it sound terrible, incredibly harsh, metallic, clashes something awful with the nice warm tone of the flexocores.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or a place that you know of where I could find a legit solo tuned extended F#/D string?

Forget about the solo tuned C-ext string

Save some huge $$ and leave on your orch tuned ext-E string. Learn to hit those rare few notes on it, it's not that bad.

This string is available in the Spirocore brand. (F# extended)
But it's quite expensive, and would probably sound weird besides smooth Flexos.

The closest thing would possibly be the thin gauge Flexocor E extended.
You could also consider the Dolce gauge Jargar E extended. (and also the most affordable)
