When transferring from other hybrid strings to Spiros (I'm looking at the mittels) about how long did it take you to get used to playing them arco?

I'm recording a full original album at the end of december/early january and am thinking about grabbing a used set off the classifieds ASAP.

Mittels need more bow pressure than the weichs or solos. If you use grippy rosin and your technique is good, eg bowing right angles to the string, then theyre easy enough.

IME mittels are more effort than evah pirazzis for comparison. For me weichs beat the EPs though.
