So if you're feeling like your strings just aren't happening lately, jack 'em up a tad and see if that helps.
Every bass I've owned has had a sweet spot regarding string height; too low and the top isn't working enough to make a good sound; too high and it starts to get choked.

Nah, they're great. I'm getting a little something weird on the G sometimes. But they're fantastic.

I just have a full gut set that's going on in about three weeks.

Hmm. I wonder what the tops of your basses would look like under a electron microscope before and after being played.

If random objects are animated, motorized, or whatever and sh** happens as a result, a reaction (however insignificant or minuscule) is always expressed when it it is observed by another entity with sensory awareness.

In the case of playing the bass, it's normal for a player to refer to the expressive quality of their equipment, IMO.

I get it, you guys must be sitting on cushions and a good whack from once in awhile from your spiritual teachers. Chop wood, carry water.

Whoops, I thought this was a string discussion!

I noticed that if I really dig into the G (Evah Regular) that a sustained note got super boingy after the initial attack. All of that aside, the EPs are still a huge leap from where we were a few short years ago with synthetics. It just wasn't enough to cure me of gut lust.

No, I don't know what you mean.

I'm being literal.

No , the picture is a collection of pixels. It does appear however that there was a woman in front of the camera who was expressing herself in several ways...
