Question Streicher strings?

Hi again.
Does somebody know, which strings Ludwig Streicher played?

Thanks and Greetings,
Michael

Hallo Bassist14.

Danke für die Antwort. Ich hab zuerst gedacht das es Spirocore sind, aber beim genaueren Hinschauen könnten es doch Flexocor sein.

Grüsse,
Michael.

Hi Michael.
Can you please translate that to english?
I don't mind a few words in other languages (I'm myself sometimes using some french), but the board's official language is english.

Best regards,
François

Babelfish says:

"I have first it Spirocore are thought, but when exact looking it could be Flexocor nevertheless."

I love web translators.

Thanks Reuben.
It probably means "I first thought they were Spirocores, but with closer looking they might be Flexocors" or something like that.

My teacher Gergely Jardanyi ( http://www.jardanyi.hu/curriculum%20english.html
) who studied with Ludwig Streicher using Pirastro Original-Flat Chrome. I also used this strings when I was studied with him at the Academy, maybe Streicher used another string from the Pirastro steel line (i'm pretty shure in pirastro and the steel), but the Pirastro Flat works perfectly for the Streicher method.
