Been watching "Toad's Steel Period" thread and have heard that flexo/92 are pretty strong on fundemental -- no?

Flexocor 92s, Stark 92s, Orig Flex, Orig. Flat Chromes or Flex 92s with Stark E, my usual choice.
If you dig in a lot, Starks or Orig Flex might suit you best. Make sure your Bass and Bow hand can handle the power needed as they do require extra pressure over regular gauged strings. I use Starks on some Basses, 92s with Stark E or 92s across all if the Bass has a strong E on its own which is not always the case being that many of the oldies are converted 3-stringers. Each Bass will tune-in its best when matched right with the Strings tone and tension. Adjustments may be needed for your Bass as well to tweak everything as you go from Pizz strings to Arco strings. I get great Pizz sound on my Basses as well with Flexocors but I also have some nice Basses. That helps.
