I recently bought a 52 Kay the strings on it are a supernil #1006 with the G & D nylon wound on nylon and the A & E silver plated wound on nylon.I am getting a buzzing noice off the A and E strings when I lift my fingers off when playing like the G or C notes.I have raised the bridge and tried different fingering methods but it still happens at times. I like the feel of these strings I had dedario on my old bass and they tore up my fingers.would it be the way I am playing or should I look into new strings to try and correct this. Thanks
Without seeing the bass or watching your technique it's difficult to say with certainty, but it could be that the fingerboard is worn and requires dressing...I suppose the strings themselves could be worn too...
Move the string aside and look and feel for any irregularities- like slight grooves in the fingerboard. Could be time for a trip to the luthier!
Good luck!
Joe

These strings are really floppy.
You may wish to try Innovations Golden or Silver Slaps or Super Silvers for a better quality string with more tension.
