String ID

I know they are older pirastro string and solo gauge. One has dark blue silks and the other brown silks. Any info would be great.

Thanks.

Does anybody have a guess. The usual channels didn't turn anything up.

If they are really Pirastro strings, they are no longer manufactured.
I put in all current Pirastro silk colour codes into my personal double bass string table and none of the colour combinations fit. The only combination TP: yellow, peg: red would be a Chorda and this is naked gut.

The darker one almost looks like the blue they used on the first series of Flexocores but that other one isn't ringing any bells... You need the old DONOSAURUS to check them out. He was playing arco before my, uh, 'permanent teeth' descended!
