Strings for 5 string, primarily pizz

I have a Shen 5 string with obligatos.

With a 42" mensure, I find the obligatos to be somewhat stiff. I am thinking that a softer string may be more responsive. I play mostly Pizz.

Any thoughts?

the Obli's are stiff? That's the same mensure as my four-string and they are one of the softer strings I've played. Tried any of the Velvets?
