Strings for Guy Cole Bass

I have a Guy Cole that has been set up by Robertsons.

I have used Original Flexacors for ADG in the past but switched to Bel Canto's about a year ago per my teacher, David Moore's, recommendation. The OFs had a crisper tone but they had a lot of rotation (they would rotate when i twisted them between my fingers if that makes sense) that made them project slightly slower.

I have always used a Pirastro Permanent for the extended E

The bel cantos have a softer sound but play great in higher positions, sound and playabilty wise.

I am interested in trying different strings or if anyone has any experience with a Guy Cole and could made a good recommendation about strings they know sound good on this bass

I see nobody replied to your question.
What don't you like in the Belcantos that make you want to look at something else?

Did you ever try Pirastro Flexocors? (the '92s)
