| As I've mentioned here before, I put Obligato G and D with Superflexible A and E on a couple of months ago. The Obli A and E had a bit too much roll for my taste.
I was a bit disappointed at first; thought the Superflexibles sounded a bit hollow. But they've settled in now, and I'm starting to like them a lot more, and they're matching up to the Oblis tone-wise pretty well. Not as much pizz power as I'd hoped, but not bad under the bow at all.
Not my dream setup, but it works for now until I can collect enough box tops to get a set of Velvets. Maybe.
