Tempting but risky???

There is a seller (not me!) on eBay offering a set of "brand new unopened" Belcantos for $140 shipped(!) I'd link to it, but I'm not sure if that would be a violation of Forum rules.

Positives: Price. Seller an eBay member for 5 years. Has 100% positive feedback rating.

Negatives: Seller has no history selling similar items. Located in Eastern bloc country (Slovenia), a region where cons and scams are hardly unknown.

Anyone have any experience with this seller, or similar cases? Is there such a thing as counterfeit bass strings? Would anybody take a chance on these, or do you think they're just too risky?

I'd buy them from someone over here.
Check the Classifieds, I think there are already some for sale, albeit maybe not brand new.
