Thinking of going from gut to Labella 7710's

I've been playing Lemurs Euro gut G & D for 4 years now.
I wanting to change to a string that will cut through better with a thick gauge like guts plus low tension like guts.
Am I dreaming??
I put a set of Spiros on but I can't get used to the thin G & D.
I like to really dig in when I'm playing.
Are the La bella's what I'm looking for???
Maybe I should just get 2 new gut strings??

They don't sound like gut at all to me, if that's what you want.
I find them pretty twangy.

You're dreaming but Innovation Super Silvers are pretty close to feeling like gut under the hands.

I tried a set of 7710s for a brief period and there was nothing gut-like in their sound. They were very nasally and twangy.

Have you given any thought to a set of Velvet Animas? My experience was that they were relatively low tension with big booming sound. In fact, when the Evahs I now have begin to die, I am going back to Animas.

Great suggestion. Animas fit to a tee. Big gauge, low tension, loud and punchy. You can really gig in and they just keep giving. They amplify very well.
I've got new ones on order myself.

I'd love a set of Animas but I'm on a budget so unless someone has a use set for sale....
So I'm on a budget and I want a string that will last a few years.

No, you don't want Animas. Maybe you should just do the Charlie Haden thing. Play the Spiros on the bottom and gut on top.

That's the setup I've got at the moment, vanished gut G & D Spiro A & E works for me so I might just order a fresh set of guts.
