Unknown strings

Hey guys,

Im using my schools bass and i really like the strings on it. They are steel and have a dark tone with a very smooth feel to the fingers. They all seem to be different types, but i dont know what they are, and i doubt my orchestra teacher will know because she is a cellist. If any of you guys are experts at identifying strings by the color on top, help me out please.

E string-baby/sky blue
A string-black
D string- Purple, might be thomastik dominants.
G string-yellow

At the tailpiece they are royal blue with black swirls

Are these strings good?

hey guys,

Im glad i was able to i.d. my strings last night and they are Corelli Rope core Tungsten medium, and they are the only strings i have played on. They have a very dark tone, and a soft feel to the finger, but i was wondering if they are considered good strings or not so i could try some different ones. Any help appreciated.

nothing wrong with them. Usually corelli's are extremely bright so if you get a dark sound, that's kinda cool.
