What kind of string is this?

They came on my old bass and I immediately relplaced them because they were impossible for arco work. I never got to find out what kind of strings they were...any ideas?

its a silvery string wrapped in some kind of synthetic, it feels very smooth. the end is yellow with black stripes spiraling up.

Huh...I would think Corelli 370F based on those colors, but I never thought of them as being impossible for bow work, nor did I know of any synthetic coating...hmmmmmm

You guys are really good!

They're Eurosonics, medium tension set. They have a nice jazz/pizz sound but they don't offer any arco ability.

No, sorry.
I've never tried them, in fact.
Just saw them on UptonBass.
