What strings has a blue color with a black spiral...
at the end at the tailpiece? My friend says that Rabbath helped design them.

I don't know about the Rabbath info, but those are Corelli 370M's. I've seen Rabbath use them, as well as Barry Green (studied with him). They are light and bright, and I love them...of course, they don't work well on my bass.
